Lighthouse Beach

It lies in the extreme south of Kovalam. Constructed on a rocky headland, there lies the towering lighthouse. Tourists are not allowed to go inside but the memorials of Ayyanappilla Asan and Ayyippilla Asan around the beach can be seen. While illuminated in evening, the lighthouse becomes more spectacular.

Samudra Beach

The beach is located to the north most part of the beach. It is another scenic jewel of Kovalam. Tourists can enjoy the amazing view of fishing vessels and ships. It is also a good spot for swimming and bathing.
